Aloe Designs has launched a new way for homeowners to get ‘Do it Yourself' garden design - a customized garden design toolbox that provides clients with:

     •  Professional concept plans

     •  Details on how and where to implement the design

     •  Site analysis (dishing the dirt on your dirt)

     •  Shopping lists for plants, hardscape materials and accessories

     •  …and most importantly, expert advice on how to keep things green.

Aloe makes three ‘design in a box' kits – after all homeowners' green spaces come in many types, so garden design should too:

     •  Patio: Ideal for small space gardens, containers and decks.

     •  Garden: Focuses on larger areas, either in the front or back yard.

     •  Landscape: Covers all the ground in between, providing homeowners with         comprehensive plans.

WHO USES 'DESIGN IN A BOX'     

Clients who don't need Aloe Designs as a full range service, and want to be more involved in the hands on approach to implementing the landscape work themselves.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Aloe's besign in a box is a customized garden design toolbox that provides clients “do-it-yourself” plans for their garden spaces at a fixed price. The kit includes an initial consultation where the client goes through a list of ideas and design concepts with the designer.

The designer then does a site analysis and measurement. From here a concept plan and customized lists pertaining to the client's design is printed up into their package. 2 weeks following, a design package is delivered to the client and a 1/2 hour walk through and overview is described.

We get the most excitement from design projects where the clients really get involved, get their hands dirty so-to-speak. We hope that these kits will provide new and not so new homeowners a chance to really plan their space with a fresh set of eyes and begin a healing, rewarding and inspiring process in the garden.

To know that we have helped aid in a design minded and eco friendly approach to garden design that clients can then work at over time, makes what we do in our day to day seem worthwhile. Our hope is that this becomes a leading trend among homeowners to take the time to help beautify their space, make their home a home and really get reconnected with their outside environment.
